South Africa’s Business Connexion (BCX) has announced the appointment of an acting chief executive officer (CEO) following the death of Benjamin Mophatlane.
HumanIPO reported yesterday 41-year-old Mophatlane passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.
BCX announced to shareholders Vanessa Olver, Mophatlane’s deputy, had been appointed to acting CEO following a board meeting today.
“Benjamin will be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm and exceptionally warm personality, which are aspiring attributes for us all,” the company said.
