France romp into 4-2 World Cup final lead over Croatia

France’s power on the counter-attack saw them take a 4-2 lead over Croatia in Sunday’s World Cup final at Moscow.

Kylian Mbappe scored his fourth goal of the tournament with an excellent strike from distance.

Just seconds after France had moved 4-1 clear, Croatia’s Mario Mandzukic tackled a dawdling Hugo Lloris to send the ball into the net and cut the deficit to two goals.
