With just two days left before the local government elections, I haven’t as yet decided where I will place my “X” on the ballot paper, but I have a clearer picture in my mind of the things I will be voting for.
At 24, this will be my first time voting. Although I was eligible to vote in the 2014 national elections, I had decided not to as I was apathetic to those elections, considering them a two-party race between the ANC and DA, with the former poised to win as it consistently had in years prior.
