MTN has introduced its new Prestige Plus contract package, looking to give customers more value by bundling more anytime minutes, SMSs and more data value for a single monthly subscription fee.

The package contains 2,500 minutes, 2,000 SMSs and 2GB data, as well as benefits such as airport lounge access, priority MTN call centre support and a phone repair service, and will be available through deals with likes of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Apple iPhone 5s and 5c.

MTN Prestige Plus customers will also have access to MTN’s LTE network.

“We wanted to create an innovative new package to suit the needs of those customers that are looking for more than what we offer in our existing MTN AnyTime price plan range,” said Brian Gouldie, chief marketing officer (CMO) at MTN South Africa. “We believe that through MTN Prestige Plus, we have developed an exclusive package that will be perfect to meet value added service needs of our high value customers, while offering relevant and attractive lifestyle benefits.”

He said: “We have observed that most customers purchase LTE enabled devices but have not changed their SIM cards, we would like to encourage them to visit an MTN store to swap their current SIM cards to an LTE SIM to get the fastest speeds available.”
