Hollywood
classic films under the stars at the Galileo Open-Air Cinema in Cape Town, until

Egoli
at the Market Theatre in Newtown, Jo’burg, until January 31. As part of its
40th birthday celebrations, the Market Theatre is staging this play to
highlight the role that theatre plays in social commentary. Egoli was written
by 23-year-old Matsemela Manaka and is directed by Phala Ookeditse Phala. The
play addresses capitalism and apartheid by telling the stories of migrant
workers in the city of gold. The cast includes Hamilton Dlamini. Tickets are
